The launch of "The Oxford Handbook of Food, Water and Society" took place on Friday, November 8th at Michel and Sherine Bayoud lecture hall (FAFS). The volume The Oxford Handbook of Food Water and Society was originally published in May 2018 by Oxford Online Handbooks.
Volume editor FAFS' Martin Keulertz introduced the book followed by a skype call with Professor Tony Allan of SOAS and KCL University of London. After that, Mr. Phil Riddell, special advisor to the minister of water and irrigation in Egypt shared his perspectives regarding a more economically and environmentally sound water supply in arid and semi-arid regions.
