The Department of Landscape Design and Ecosystem Management (LDEM) offers license-qualifying degrees at the graduate and undergraduate levels and is an official member of the European Council for Landscape Architecture Schools (ECLAS).
LDEM is distinguished with its international and multidisciplinary team and integrates the academic and professional experience of its accomplished faculty members and practitioners in graduating a generation of leading landscape architects who concurrently utilize design and science in the field. LDEM students enjoy a diverse learning experience, from seminar rooms and studios to field visits and outdoor classrooms.
LDEM's unique position within the university allows for it to promote collaboration with various academic units including architecture, urban design and planning, agriculture, food security, archaeology, engineering, and public health.
