LASS Structure
The society is formed of a cabinet and general members. The cabinet includes the president, the vice president, the secretary, the treasurer, the PR (What is this? Spell out), the member at large and four class representatives for each of the four program years.
Students are invited to join the society either as a member or as an elected member of the cabinet. The cabinet is elected every fall semester. The election process follows AUB societies' bylaws.
To be a society member, students must register through the AUBsis online system and the requisite membership fees will be added to the tuition. However, to become a member of the cabinet, students must first be officially registered on AUBsis as a society member.
General meetings to prepare and organize activities require prior approval from the office of Student Affairs.
Besides calling for meetings and organize activities, the society also attends to students' concerns, making sure to listen to their demands and, whenever possible and in collaboration with the department, furnish their needs.
To fund activities, the cabinet usually relies on the income raised from the bake sales, the parking day, and the outdoors game.
