Yaser Abunnasr participates in the International Congress “Metropolitan Solutions for Governance and Metropolis Construction in a Global Context"

Dr. Yaser Abunnasr, Associate Dean and Chair of the Department of Landscape Design and Ecosystem Management, was invited by the Metropolitan Authority of Barcelona to participate as a speaker at the International Congress “Metropolitan Solutions for Governance and Metropolis Construction in a Global Context”. The Congress, organized by the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB), was held at Citilab in Cornelia de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain (October 17-18).

This International Congress explored possible solutions for planing and managing Metropolitan challenges implemented by different metropolises around the world. Dr. Abunnasr presented his work on upscaling green infrastructure from local projects to the Metropolitan scale.
