Society (RSS), such as the WANA Institute and ESCWA Technology Center), Dr. Omar
El-Razzaz, Jordanian Minister of Education and AUB alumnus, and Dr. Khaled

WEFRAH is a water energy food health nexus initiative. Led by FAFS and supported by AUB’s Deans and research units, WEFRAH is a pilot project centered on reviving research and development activities at AREC. The project will focus on multidisciplinary research and development innovations in technology, science, policy and learning. WEFRAH’s vision is to make AUB a regional hub for innovation in the water-energy-food-health nexus and the interconnectedness of renewable resources in arid and semiarid regions. WEFRAH is expected to launch in Fall 2018. For more information, click here.
