Dr. Samer Kharroubi awarded Chartered Statistician (CStat) status

In recognition of his extensive training and experience as a professional statistician, Dr. Samer A Kharroubi, associate professor of Biostatistics at FAFS, was awarded the prestigious Chartered Statistician (CStat) status by the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) of the United Kingdom.

CStat status is the highest professional award for a statistician.  Dr. Kharroubi was recognized for his PhD training and subsequent 15 years of experience in Biostatistics and Health Economics at the Universities of Surrey, Sheffield, York, and at AUB as a post-doctoral research associate, assistant professor, associate professor, and statistical consultant for FAFS. Dr. Kharroubi demonstrated a strong, consistent commitment to continued professional development, another key criterion considered by the RSS.
