Graduate Commencement Ceremony & the first Food Security Program graduate

On June 8 and 9, FAFS celebrated the commencement of 127 undergraduate and 19 of graduate students. FAFS wishes its graduates careers of excitement, growth, and fulfillment. We trust that the new graduates will realize their full potential, wherever the future may lead them.

The Food Security Program proudly observed the graduation of Ms. Nour Nashef, the Program’s very first MS student. The MS in Food Security program includes nine students, and is excited about continuing to grow and offer even greater learning opportunities. The program, launched in the fall of 2016, enrolls students from diverse academic backgrounds including nutrition, agribusiness, agricultural economics, international relations, environmental science, and human ecology. Current students are from Lebanon, the United States, and Kenya. The AUB-FAFS Food Security Program looks forward to welcoming the next cohort in the fall of 2018.
