FAFS alumna Rania Bou Mosleh, founder of AMB Sal and AMB Contracting, won the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award during the 7th Brilliant Lebanese Awards 2018. The Woman Entrepreneur award is intended for women-led (50% + 1 share owned by women) profitable businesses with differentiated products or services that offer a sustainable, scalable business model with commitment to social responsibility.
Bou Mosleh holds a B.Sc. in Engineering in Agriculture, and an M.Sc. in Ecosystem Management (AUB, FAFS). In 2014–2015 she received her EMBA from Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) and, in 2016, completed the Harvard Program for Leadership Development, as well as post-graduate training courses and certificates in Project Management, Cost Benefit Analysis, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and Participatory Rural Appraisal. Rania founded AMB SAL in 2010 and AMB Contracting SAL in 2011. In four years, under her guidance, the company has achieved a five-million dollar turnover. As shareholder and CEO of SMARCTOM since 2015, Bou Mosleh helped the company to expand into the Qatar market as AMC Contracting: the company achieved a 30-million dollar turnover in two years.
