Graduating from FAFS AUB (1991), Dr. Mounir Abi-Said has recently been featured in the New York Times front page for his conservation work with saving the striped hyena’s, Lebanon’s national animal, as well as in the Independent. His continuous research efforts in wildlife conservation reached the International Media, in addition to his work in running the Animal Encounter, a unique educational center for wildlife conservation, in Lebanon. His hard work is a mark for the great projects many FAFS alumni contribute to the conservation of our world.
