FAFS-AUB Alumnus Mounir Abi-Said featured in the New York Times and the Independent for his work to save Lebanon’s striped hyenas

Graduating from FAFS AUB (1991), Dr. Mounir Abi-Said has recently been featured in the New York Times front page for his conservation work with saving the striped hyena’s, Lebanon’s national animal, as well as in the Independent​. His continuous research efforts in wildlife conservation reached the International Media, in addition to his work in running the Animal Encounter, a unique educational center for wildlife conservation, in Lebanon. His hard work is a mark for the great projects many FAFS alumni contribute to the conservation of our world​​.
