Dean Emeritus Nuhad Daghir honored at ASN for 50 years of support

Dean Emeritus Nuhad Daghir was honored at the American Society for Nutrition (ASN)​ 2019 flagship meeting (June 8-11), in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, for completing 50 years of being a member of the society and for his support of ASN during his entire career.


ASN’s newly inaugurated President, Dr. Catherine Field, recognized Dean Daghir’s leadership and scientific contributions to the professional society and for his support of ASN during his entire career.​

The mission of ASN, founded 1928, is to foster and enhance research in animal and human nutrition and to use communication of scientific research to promote foster quality education and training in the field of nutrition by upholding the standards of ethical behavior in research and the care and treatment of research animals.​
