Global Design Team course launch

Junior and Senior year undergraduate students of the NFSC, Agriculture and LDEM departments were invited to attend an informative session on Monday, October 7, 2019, on Global Design Team (GDT) courses that were launched by FAFS during the fall semester of the academic year 2019-20.

During the session, Dean Mohtar explained to students how the newly developed GDT courses fit into their curricula and align with existing courses in the respective undergraduate programs. The Dean presented three capstone community projects in which students may engage as part of their coursework: Pine Nut Harvesting (Mount Lebanon), Pesticide Deployment Control (Mount Lebanon), and Water Sanitation (Shatila refugee camp).
