NDCP students completing their practicum to become Registered Dietitians at SAGE University

Congratulations to the first batch of Nutrition and Dietetics Coordinated Program (NDCP) students joining the SAGE Colleges, Albany, New York for the fall semester 2019-2020.

The NDCP students wrote to express their gratitude for this opportunity to experience first-hand Nutrition and Dietetics practice in the US: ”Completing our dietetics practicum in the United States will  enrich  our knowledge and ensure that upon graduation we will be ready for the Registered Dietitian (RD) Examination to later practice  as dietetics professionals (RDs). The staff and faculty members of FAFS helped us through every step of the process, providing continuous motivation and support, encouraging our application to the NDCP program, and, finally our smooth transition to New York. In spite of being a great distance from home, the staff and faculty at SAGE Colleges made us part of their community: their warm welcome and constant care made our journey smoother. Although it has only been a short period here, we have learned so much and are excited to continue learning in the coming months, both about nutrition and by enriching ourselves through the diverse cultures we encounter here."

The second batch of NDCP students will join the SAGE colleges for the Spring Semester 2020 next January.
