The FAFS-NFSC CP-10 Preceptor reception (May 29) honored the Nutrition and Dietetics Coordinated Program (NDCP) Class of 2019 in an event attended by Dean Mohtar, NFSC faculty, members of the AUB Medical Center (AUBMC), Rafik Hariri University Hospital (RHUH), and Saint George Hospital University Medical Center (SGHUMC), community center preceptors, and CP-10 students.
Dr. Marie Claire Chamieh, NDCP Coordinator, welcomed the guests and introduced Dr. Nahla Hwalla, NDCP Director. Dr. Hwalla thanked and applauded the preceptors for their efforts and dedication in fostering their mission. She recognized the efforts of each faculty member, whose diligence and perseverance in upholding the highest standards of teaching helped foster a conducive learning environment. Dr. Hwalla congratulated the students on their accomplishment and outstanding performance, noting that they are now equipped to become agents of change in their chosen field.
Dean Mohtar and Dr. Hwalla presented thank you letters and gifts of appreciation to the hospitals, clinical nutrition directors, and preceptors to thank them for their support and contributions to the CP program. An Iftar reception followed, in which faculty members, staff, preceptors, and students enjoyed a delightful evening. Congratulations NDCP Class of 2019!
