RCODE’s Ibrahim Bahati receives the Rasha and Nouhad Daouk Student Development Award

​​​FAFS congratulates RCODE student Ibrahim Bahati for his selection by the RCODE committee to receive the Rasha and Nouhad Daouk Student Development Award. Bahati will use the award to attend the 62nd Annual Meeting of the African Studies Association (ASA), November 21-23 in Boston, USA.  

ASA is a highly respected platform for rese​arch and debate on social studies in Africa. Bahati will submit his abstract, Rethinking Rural Development from a Smallholder’s Perspective: How has commercialization of sugar impacted on Rural Livelihoods in Hoima, Uganda. ​
