ESDU partners in new project: Addressing immediate socio-economic impacts of COVID-19

​​In partnership with ACTED, ESDU received a UN Development Programme grant for implementation of the project Addressing immediate socio-economic impacts of COVID-19: Subsistence support for Host and Refugee Populations in Lebanon. The grant is for a 6 month period, starting July 2020, and will provide support for livelihood assets, technical support, and market linkages to 28 entities, including the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), small-holder farmers, and cooperatives. In all 590 direct beneficiaries (as either MSME/cooperative members, farmers or laborers) will be assisted in expanding production and continuing to produce food and generate income for communities in the South and Bekaa.​
