The Transforming Higher Education project, led by FAFS at the American University of Beirut, in partnership with the Global Confederation of Higher Education Associations for Agriculture and Life Sciences (GCHERA), EARTH University, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, joined with the Asia-Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institution (APAARI) to co-organize the webinar: Experiential Learning in Times of COVID-19: where do we go from here?.
The webinar highlighted the students' perceptions of online learning, its challenges, and lessons learned by different universities across the world. Speakers included Dr. Frank Robinson (U Alberta), Dr. Majdi Abou Najm (U California, Davis), Dr. Lori Snyder (North Carolina State U) and Dr. Joy Jamago (Central Mindanao U, Philippines), who shared experiences and their innovative efforts in delivering online experiential learning. Over 90 participants from some 32 institutions in 17 countries participated in the webinar, moderated by Professor Michel Wattiaux (U Wisconsin-Madison) and Dr. Roula Bachour (FAFS-AUB).
