FAFS promotes Healthy Earth, Healthy Food and Healthy People! Under this theme, the FAFS team introduced potential students to FAFS graduate programs during AUB's Eighth Annual Open House for Graduate Studies at West Hall. Students from different universities attended the presentation session that introduced the AUB faculties.
Dr. Samer Kharroubi presented FAFS and invited attendees to join the faculty's efforts in addressing issues of local, regional and global relevance at the nexus of water, food, energy, and health. Students then visited the booths of the faculties, where representatives from each faculty answered their queries. The FAFS booth was exceptional this year; it featured a TV, framed in a floral arrangement prepared by LDEM, and included running animations about FAFS programs and the promising local, regional and international career opportunities FAFS students can enjoy. Informative banners were displayed in the booth and visitors could enter a drawing for prizes from ESDU, Animal Encounter, NFSC, and Bredna's Bakery.
