LDEM plants spread positive energy around campus

As students embark on their exam period, and as staff work relentlessly to ensure the health and wellbeing of their community, 'good luck's and 'thank you' are best said with plants.  LDEM and the Office of Student Affairs, surprise AUB residence hall students and staff with plants (May 13).

Plants are known to support mental wellbeing by reducing stress. In residence halls and workplaces, plants help students and staff concentrate and perform tasks with greater accuracy due to their calming influence. By spending more time surrounded with plants, students and staff will have a more positive outlook which could be of great benefit during the lockdown due to COVID-19.

LDEM hopes to spread this initiative and motivate the AUB community to grow more plants.
