ESDU remains committed to supporting the local communities, especially in times of need. As part of the Ardi Ardak initiative and in collaboration with Food Heritage Foundations, Lebanese League for Women in Business, and Zico House, 7,500 seedlings were distributed (April 24) to 128 small-scale farmers in Akkar, Btedhi (Baalbek), Chouf and West Bekaa.
ESDU distributed technical sheets with the seedlings and will also provide technical support through WhatsApp groups. Farmers chose from a variety of seedlings, including tomato, cucumber, eggplant and more. The Ardi Ardak team plans to include heirloom seeds in future distributions. Seedlings were procured from the nurseries of Cooperation without Borders in Ras Baalbek and with the generous contributions of donors - your contribution will save lives!
