Eco Khalleh sustainable activities workshops

​​Eco Khalleh, FAO's educational and training center on Agroecology and organic farming, is affiliated with FAFS' Environment and Sustainable Development Unit (ESDU). FAFS-ESDU is organizing a series of sustainable activities workshops at its farm in Baaklin, El Chouf.

Eco Khalleh initiated the series on September 21, with a session on clay-stove making. Rahija Bou Wadi from Batloun Village and one of the last kanoon (clay stove) makers in Lebanon, taught 20 workshop participants the ancient technique for making the stoves.​​
