LDEM professor and Chairperson of the Food Security Program, Dr. Rami
Zurayk, gave a virtual talk: Food and Nutrition Security in the Age of
COVID19 at the New York University Abu Dhabi (October 28). Dr. Zurayk’s
presentation focused on increasing the resilience of the food system at local,
national, and global levels; and he discussed the response of Arab countries,
especially GCC countries, to the challenges and options that exist for enhancing
