Haneen Dwaib, a 2020 Winner in L’Oreal UNESCO Women in Science Levant Young Talent Program

Ms. Haneen Dwaib, PhD student in Biomedical Sciences in Nutrition, was one of 6 women in the Arab region who won the 2020 L'Oreal UNESCO award for Women in Science Levant Young Talents program.

The program promotes and encourages young women scientists from Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria. This year, six talented scientists were honored for the quality of their research; the program encourages pursuit of careers in science in the Levant Countries.
