FAFS Food Science and Management student Lynn Berjawi has been working hard to support the needy families during the economic crisis and COVID-19 pandemic where many people are not able to accommodate their basic needs. Starting with a small amount of donations and 2 meals per week, Lynn's initiative received the interest of many generous people. This resulted in partnering with another local initiative to feed as many people they can throughout Lebanon.
More and more donations were received, which allowed the team to cook and distribute food on a daily basis to the families in need.
What started as a small initiative is now helping 25 families with their daily food needs. Lynn is also distributing food boxes to certain families based on their needs (chicken, meat, pasta, soup, mouneh items..)
