The Nehme Moujaess Student Award in Landscape Architecture is a yearly award established in 2017, which honors a final year LDEM student for his final year design project and research conducted during the last two semesters of the undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture. The award's mission is to recognize and promote innovative and exceptional landscape projects that are responsive to place, culture, and to the natural and ecological needs of the region.
The committee has selected Ms. El Zein's project “Sayniq River: Discovering the Hidden Waterscape" as the most developed and responsive culturally, socially and environmentally at both the macro and micro scale. LDEM congratulates Ms. El Zein on her excellent work and looks forward to presenting her with the award on a date that will be later determined.
