Dr. Salma Talhouk gave an online interview (April 19) to Lebanon with a Twist, a CSR TV and Online segment to promote eco, rural, and adventure tourism in Lebanon. The interview introduced the concept of citizen science and discussed a new citizen science phone application developed through an EU-funded project EduBioMed.
Dr. Talhouk explained that through the app, citizens and visitors of Biosphere reserves in Lebanon and the Mediterranean will have an opportunity to learn about research projects as these are posted by managers and researchers. Citizens and visitors will be able to participate in data collection. Find the interview on NCC's Dr. Salma Talhouk on citizen science in Lebanon.
