ESDU’s Networking Platform “Mchakkal Helo” Kicks Off!

ESDU's new networking platform “Mchakkal Helo" has kicked off activities. Designed to foster linkages between stakeholders, it aims to support and address the needs of individuals, groups and communities seeking to achieve self-sustainability through alternative approaches. To date, three online meetings have strengthened the collaboration between network members and the ESDU team. Additionally, two live-stream sessions were conducted in the framework of the “Women's Economic Participation" (WEP) project.

The first live-stream training session, conducted by soap production expert Souad Abdallah, demonstrated the process of making natural soap at home and explored the hot and cold soap making processes. The second live-streamed session was an exciting panel discussion that brought together an eclectic group of expert speakers who discussed rural tourism in Lebanon. Guest speakers addressed a range of topics, including issues and challenges of the rural tourism sector in Lebanon, opportunities and development and the involvement of women in the sector. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements about “Mchakkal Helo".
