Landscape Architecture students have been successfully organizing the spring plant sale for the AUB community for many years as part of the Landscape Horticulture course. Unlike the plant sale events that were either cancelled or organized without the student involvement for the past two years due to COVID restrictions, this year, Landscape Architecture students from different years organized a FALL PLANT SALE on October 22, 2021 in coordination with Ms. Monika Fabian, Instructor at LDEM and greenhouse supervisor.
The event that was held at the FAFS courtyard to target FAFS and the surrounding community, included mostly indoor plants was a big success. Faculty, staff and students from across AUB visited the booth and picked their plants. Due to popular demand, more plant sale events will be planned with different types of plants in the near future.
