Salma Talhouk launches Mashroo3 platform - Saving Lebanon's villages

Many people who hold Lebanon's traditional village life dear to their hearts are eager to help, but unsure of what or whom to support.

LDEM's Dr. Salma Talhouk, the Nature Conservation Center (NCC) team, and  partners in Fondation Diane have established 'Mashroo3' crowdfunding platform to help fund locally-conceived, ongoing initiatives and projects that lead to sustainable living. Mashroo3 is part of the larger Daskara initiative and focuses on funding nature-friendly and heritage-based projects submitted by individuals, municipalities, and organizations. It aims to effect change by empowering communities and individuals to realize their sustainable projects and match donors' interests with vetted projects to make a real difference.
