HE Amin Salam, Minister of Economy and Trade, appointed Dr. Mohamad Abiad to chair the Scientific Committee assessing and evaluating the grains at Beirut Seaport following the August 4, 2020 Explosion. Dr. Abiad and a team of experts from the Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Economy and Trade, among others, will work to find solutions to treat, recycle, and valorize the grains.
