On Monday, June 21, Dr. Rami Zurayk, contributed to a transdisciplinary dialogue on impactful science Accelerating sustainable transformations: what role for socio-environmental observatories in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals?, organized by Montpellier University of Excellence (MUSE). The science-policy dialogue explored when and how science can be useful for decision-making, and the roles that socio-environmental observatories can play in the advancement of the SDGs.
Dr. Zurayk shared his experience in policy-science platforms and lessons learned from working with diverse actors and facing challenges. He showed the potential for transformation in the advancement of the SDGs.
