The Cooperatives and SMEs in Bekaa and the North regions have begun to reap the benefits of the solar power systems installed in the beginning of this year in the framework of the ISNAD project.
Mrs. Fatima Hamieh, head of Mawasem Coop in Taraya, and Mr. Qassem al Shab, head of Al Sanad Coop in Arsal, have expressed relief for owning an alternative source of power, as they were successfully able to sustain production despite the several electricity blackouts continuously endured by their villages.
