As part of its Online Seminar Series, FAFS hosted (May 31) Ms Eiman Karar, advisor to UNESCO Sudan, director of Water Institutions and Governance at the Ministry of Water and Forestry of South Africa, and advisor to the Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources of Sudan.
Ms. Karar spoke on water governance for sustainable development in developing countries, highlighting the various good practices relevant to water governance for achieving sustainable development in developing countries. It also focused on defining water governance, which makes direct contribution to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in developing countries including food security.
