Beata Dreksler is organizing the ‘First Middle East Landscape Forum: Designing Transformative Change for Productive Landscapes’ to be held at AUB in October 2022

Dr. Beata Dreksler from LDEM is leading The First Middle East Landscape Forum in the MENA region, organized by the American University of Beirut (Lebanon), Nürtingen-Geislingen University (Germany), the German-Jordanian University (Jordan), and the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (Jordan) with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The Landscape Forum will take place in AUB from October 20 to 22, 2022. Deadline for abstract submission is April 30, 2022.

The Middle East Landscape Forum will bring together scientists, practitioners, and social entrepreneurs from the region working under the umbrella of productive landscapes. Accompanying events will allow showcasing the work of the different organizations and initiatives. The conference will be organized alone five themes: Productive Rural Landscapes, Landscape Experience, Productive Urban Landscapes, Heritage and Identities and Energy Landscapes.
