ESDU and the Directorate of Civil-Military Cooperation jointly working towards enhancing Lebanon’s food security

​With an aim to support the resilience of Lebanese citizens and enhance their food security during the current economic crisis, the Environment and Sustainable Development Unit (ESDU) at FAFS is working in cooperation with the Directorate of Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) on setting a partnership strategy to address food security challenges and support rural communities in times of crisis.

A working day was organized on the 5th of October and included a lecture on the importance of civil-military cooperation. The lecture, presented by Colonel Iyad El Alam, the Director of the Lebanese Armed Forces' (LAF) Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC), was attended by AUB students, faculty, and staff.
