On July 20th, ESDU participated in the Agri-food Sector Beyond Competition: Stories of Mediterranean Cooperation event, co-organized by ENI CBC MED, the Spanish Ministry, and the Region of Valencia.
The event highlighted the possibilities of achieving a common ground for cooperation in the agri-food sector despite competition. Around 200 attendees, including ENI CBC MED partners, institutional representatives, experts, project managers, and young people from both shores of the Mediterranean region, participated in the virtual event.
Under the MedSNAIL project, ESDU presented traditional products from West Bekaa and Chouf regions. ESDU also introduced the system of marketing initiatives built to promote traditional products, support small-scale local producers, and build linkages of cooperation between the sector's stakeholders.
