LEAF builds new collaborations with US-DTRA, Lebanese Armed Forces Military Police, and CBRN Company

The Laboratories for the Environment, Agriculture and Food (LEAF) is leading a new initiative between the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), represented by its project manager Ms. Elisabeth Dufrane, and the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) Military Police and the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Company. The new initiative is the fruit of ongoing collaborations between all the stakeholders. LEAF will support DTRA by providing technical support and capacity-building to army personnel.

DTRA provides cross-cutting solutions to enable the Department of Defense, the United States Government, and international partners to prevent, reduce, and eliminate CBRN threats through risk reduction, arms control, partner capacity building, and warfighter support. DTRA provides strategic and operational support through subject matter expertise, technical reach back, tailored analysis, and exercise support.
