Salma Talhouk participated in the International Expert Workshop organized by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation

Dr. ​Salma Talhouk, Professor at the Department of Landscape Design and Ecosystem Management, participated in the International Expert Workshop - Fostering Applied Research on the Synergies Between Biodiversity and Climate. The event, which took place on the 8th and 9th of June, was organized by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN). 

Thirty leading scientists from around the world came together to exchange knowledge and perspectives, highlight good practice applications, and identify existing gaps to prioritize future research. Following the workshop results, the BfN will implement an international project to support research institutions in carrying out application-oriented, participatory research exploring the synergies between biodiversity, climate protection and climate adaptation.
