​U.S. citizens attending AUB may be entitled for the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program to assist them financially in their education.


General​ Information​

Most of the information provided in the Federal Direct Loan Section comes from The Guide to Federal Student Aid booklet distributed by the U.S. Department of Education. Hard copies are available as well at AUB's Financial Aid Office. In addition the FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov​) website provides considerable information and online help.

Canadian Citizens from Ontario

​​​The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a financial aid program for Canadian students from the Ontario ….  This program can help you pay for university expenses.

When you apply for OSAP, you are automatically considered for both grants (money you don't have to pay back) and loans (money you need to repay). If you do not want to take a loan, you can decline it after the application is approved.

OSAP can pay for: tuition, books, equipment and supplies, mandatory student fees a school may charge, living expenses (full-time students only), child care (for students with children).
