About the President's Merit Scholarship Program
Number of awardees per faculty/school: up to 10 per cohort
Starting date: New students entering in fall 2024-25

Application Process
Eligibility
- First-year students (freshmen, sophomore and medical)
- Students with full tuition scholarships are not eligible
Application
- Admissions applications are screened and potential awardees are identified based on high school grades and SAT scores
- Potential awardees will receive an email inviting them to apply
- Invitees submit the online scholarship application
Additional Requirements
- submit a CV
- write essays detailing the merit and nature of their academic, personal and leadership achievements
- provide supporting evidence of described qualifications and achievements (certificates, portfolios, news, etc.)
- attend an interview
Criteria
- High school grades (grades 10 and 11), SAT scores, and admissions composite score
- Exceptional academic and leadership achievements and potential
- Impact in both school and community
- Interview assessment
