President's Merit Scholarship Program

About the President's Merit Scholarship Program

​​Number of awardees per faculty/school: up to 10 per cohort

Starting date: New students entering in fall 2024-25

Application submission: By invitation only​

Application Process


  • First-year students (freshmen, sophomore and medical)
  • Students with full tuition scholarships are not eligible


  • Admissions applications are screened and potential awardees are identified based on high school grades and SAT scores 
  • Potential awardees will receive an email inviting them to apply 
  • Invitees submit the online scholarship application

Additional Requirements

  • submit a CV
  • write essays detailing the merit and nature of their academic, personal and leadership achievements
  • provide supporting evidence of described qualifications and achievements (certificates, portfolios, news, etc.)
  • ​attend an interview​


  • High school grades (grades 10 and 11), SAT scores, and admissions composite score
  • Exceptional academic and leadership achievements and potential ​ 
  • Impact in both school and community
  • Interview assessment
