Fatme Chehouri

​Fatme Chehouri is an MA student, where she earned her BA in Arabic literature in 2017. She is working on her MA thesis titled: " Invectives Directed Against Cities in Abbasid literature." Her research interests include Abbasid literature, medieval scholarship, and Teaching Arabic as a Second/Foreign Language. Fatme published on Hiwārāt, a review of the medieval work The Book of Noble Character, Excellent Conduct, Admirable Descriptions, and Curious Similes, attributed to al-Thaʿālibī (d. 429/1039). ​

حازت فاطمة على شهادة البكالوريوس في الأدب العربيّ عام 2017 من الجامعة الأمريكيّة في بيروت، وتعمل على رسالتها المعنونة: "هجاء المدن في العصر العبّاسيّ." تهتمّ شحوري بالنثر العبّاسيّ، والنقد عند المتقدّمين، وتعليم اللغة العربيّة كلغةٍ ثانية. ونشرت مراجعة عن تحقيق كتاب "مكارم الأخلاق ومحاسن الآداب وبدائع الأوصاف وغرائب التشبيهات" المنسوب للثعالبي (تـ. ١٠٣٩م) على موقع حوارات في خريف 2018.
