Reem Harb

Reem Harb is an instructor at the Department of Arabic and Near Eastern Languages where she teaches Persian as a foreign language. She is a Fulbright alumnus and holds an M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Texas at Austin (2016). Her thesis on Muta’ Safadi examines the connections between Arab existentialist thought and revolutionary movements during the era of decolonization. Her research interests include Persian language and literature and modern Arab intellectual history. She received her B.A. in English Literature from the American University of Beirut.
