Rima Sultani-Kanawati

Ms. Rima Kanawati is an Arabic language teaching specialist having a thorough knowledge of Arabic language teaching with a comprehensive experience of more than 10 years. At least half of her work was with international students as an instructor of Arabic language as a second language working with students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. She joined AUB after acquiring a BA with distinction in Arabic literature from Beirut Arab University. After pursuing her MS in Arabic language and literature at the American University of Beirut, she was a full time instructor at the American Community School for four years taking the responsibility of the high and intermediate Arabic classes before she has been fully dedicated at CAMES as an instructor for teaching Arabic language as a second language. Currently, Rima's newest research topic is part of a PHD program at AUB which is aiming at extending more focus on the development of the Arabic language teaching through delivering value utilization of the recent technological and communication advancements.
