He graduated from Bilkent University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering in 2009, and from Sabanci University with a M.A. in Economics in 2011. He argues that rising marriage age led to more frequent marriages between individuals in similar income groups, which in turn increased the income inequality substantially. His research mainly focuses on Applied Macroeconomics with a keen interest on economics of inequality and labor market.
