David Robalino teaches Public Finance and Development Economics at the American University of Beirut. He also works as a Senior Advisor for McKinsey and is a consultant for governments and international organizations. He is one of the members of the Economic Council of the Millennium Challenge Corporation. Until recently, David was the Manager and Lead Economist of the Jobs Group at the World Bank, and Co-Director of the Labor and Development Program at IZA. David's policy work and research focus on issues related to jobs, social insurance, and fiscal policies. He has worked in over 65 countries providing advice on the design of policies and programs in these areas. David did his graduate studies at Sorbonne University and the RAND Graduate School.
