  • The Department of English is the new home of Theater at AUB. In this interview, featured in Yale Today, Robert Myers, who founded and heads the Theater Initiative at AUB, and his collaborator Nada Saab​ discuss theater, translation, and their academic and artistic formation. This Fall, Prof. Myers is coteaching the Workshop in Theater Production, whose students will be involved in a professional production this November of Henrik Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People in Lebanese Arabic, directed by his coteacher Lucien Bou Rjeily. Watch for the production dates and the many associated events on campus and beyond.​

  • ​The Global Humanities Forum is a monthly series showcasing research from universities in the Global Humanities Network , comprising the University of Cambridge, the American University of Beirut, Ashoka University, Universidad Diego Portales, Fudan University, Nanjing University, and Sabanci University.​

  • Professor Tariq Mehmood Ali​ is the subject of a two-part BBC series on his life and work, The Bradford 12: The Asian Youth Who Took on the Racists. Recordings are available to stream here: Part 1  ​Part 2 ​
