Rayya Badran is a writer based in Beirut. She earned her MA in Aural and Visual Cultures from Goldsmiths College, London in 2008. Her first publication entitled Radiophonic Voice(s) was published by Ashkal Alwan during Homeworks 5 in 2010. Her writing primarily focuses on the intersections between theory, fiction and sound and has published articles and texts in Peeping Tom (Paris), Bidoun (New York), Ibraaz (London), ArteEast (New York), Global Art Forum publications (Dubai). She recently collaborated with 98 weeks Project Space as a sound editor for the radio project Our Lines Are Now Open in the framework of Homeworks 6.
