  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Data Analytics Track

Short description

Data analytics is concerned with the quantitative analysis of data. Students in this track could work on the development of statistical and computational methods to answer specific questions about real data or might be interested in understanding the theoretical underpinnings of existing such methods, addressing their limitations, devising strategies for their improvement and possible generalization.
