  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Risk Analysis Track

Short description

Risk assessment is the process of identifying hazards and subsequently analyzing their associated risk. This can be done theoretically or through the analysis of current or historical data. In the process, the estimated risk is compared against given criteria to determine its significance, which is known as risk evaluation. Consequently, control measures are recommended.
