Political Studies and Public Administration at American University of

Acceptance
to the MA program is on a competitive basis. To ensure your application
receives the fullest possible consideration, submit your completed
application packets and test scores to the University by the relevant
deadlines. Applications packets must include:
A written
statement of purpose (~400 to 500 words) that explains in detail why you
would like to earn an MA degree from the Department of Political
Studies and Public Administration, your intended academic and research
focus, your field experience, and your professional aspirations;
Two current letters of recommendation, written by individuals who can
comment on your academic qualifications, professional accomplishments,
and character; and
Submission of relevant test scores (GRE and, if necessary, TOEFL).
