​​AUB: Dr. Rima Habib from the Faculty of Health Sciences published two articles addressing the living and working conditions of Syrian refugee children in Lebanon​

Dr. Rima Habib, professor at the American University of Beirut (AUB) – Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), leads a study on child labor among Syrian refugees living in the Bekaa Valley in Eastern Lebanon with the aim of identifying the challenges faced by refugee working children and propose an evidence-based call for action against child labor. 

The first study addresses "The association between living conditions and health among Syrian refugee children in informal tented settlements in Lebanon​". 

The second study is more focused and stresses on "Syrian refugee child workers: Gender differences in ergonomic exposures and musculoskeletal health​".
